Happy Birthday Blog!

Time flies when you’re busy earning money to pay for your debts. :-|

I didn’t realize that lemonpassion.com celebrated it’s first birthday until the billing department of my web host sent me an email asking me to pay up. Hrhrhr.

I remember the time when I was still contemplating if I should take the plunge and get a domain of my own. I was new in Singapore and jobless. It was at the height of recession and here I was looking for a job that would make use of my mobile development skill set. I was getting a bit desperate and wanted to somehow learn new skills to reinforce what I had. And so I thought that getting a domain would help me renew my interest in web development.

One year later,  I still haven’t learned any web dev stuff, I am employed, still a mobile developer and the theme is the same as when I first started the blog. A fine year, if you ask me.

To close this very sentimental entry, I would like to thank my friends who still read my blog even if all I write about are stuff about, well… me.

Here’s to another year of self-serving entries and a bunch of created (albeit unused) sub-domains! Cheers!

O HAI lemonpassion!

Welcome to the product of my procrastination and my new blog. :)

This is an attempt to get out of the 140-character limit funk that I’ve been on in the last couple of months (I’m looking at you Twitter. And you too, Plurk).

The plan is to write about romance novels, food, places I’ve been and all those stuff that I like in hopes of it being helpful to other people. Or not.

Let’s see how it goes.
