Birthday Wishlist (Part 1)

Well, hello July.

With the birthday coming up, I’ve decided to come up with a list of the things that I want. Obviously, I just recently finished watching Firefly and Serenity. Joss Whedon, you are awesome.

1. Firefly: The Complete Series (Blu-Ray): Because I need to watch it again. And again.

2. Firefly: The Official Companion (Volume 1 and Volume 2): You had me at “unseen photos, scripts, behind the scenes secrets, and exclusive input from the cast and crew”.

3. Serenity Lunch Box: Because everybody needs a lunch box in their life.

4. Serenity PVC Set: Just because these would look great on my work desk.

5. Little Damn Heroes Jayne: Who doesn’t love Jayne Cobb?

Interesting Things

A bit of blog fodder just because I have nothing to write about at the moment. I hope to post something better when my friends B, T and N arrive for a week-long vacation.

Hard Drive Clock. This would go well with the cylon PC of the husband’s. Ha!

LED Umbrella. It’s so geeky, I love it.

BSG LED Toaster. Saw this one from a recent episode of The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon Cooper is hilarious.

This is for my friend E, who I think is still hoping that someday I’ll discover my girl side and start wearing dresses and heels. My fashion knowledge does not come close to yours but I think you would wear these well. (Unconsciously, I’ve picked items which are either pink or purple, haha)

1. Fifties Cocktail Dress

Hairspray chic! All you need is your very own Zac Efron!

2. Silk Batik Hand-Painted Dress

Fitting for one of those fashion show / parties that you always go to. Pair it with killer heels and you’re all set.

3. Halter Dress or Skirt

This would be gorgeous for your trip to Bora Bora!

4. Vintage Fur-Lined Suede Boots

Fur, suede and heels.

5. Infatuation Hand Painted Shoes

Pretty flashy and unique but I think you can pull this off!

Making A List, Checking It Twice

Since December is fast approaching, I felt compelled to make a Christmas wish list. Husband and friends please choose from the following.

1. Digital Harinezumi: It’s small and takes videos, something that my DSLR is not and can’t do. Plus it’s cute!

2. XKCD Volume 0: I’m a big fan of the webcomic. Will continue to harangue the husband to buy this for me. Heh.

3. Hoppípolla by Sigur Rós: Because I have big plans for the song Hoppípolla.

4. Fierce Style: How to Be Your Most Fabulous Self: Hoping this will stop me from being a fashion slouch.

5. LOL Speak Poetry Magnets: Awesomeness.
