I have decided to get my blog a new theme. I’m still not done with the customizations and I’m still thinking of going back to my old color scheme. But since I’ve also changed my theme club, I would have to re-learn how to customize the framework. But that’s work for another day.

Today, I got my early birthday present from ze husband. I think he finally gave in just to shut me up. Hahaha. So anyway, welcome to the family, Stark.
Well, hello July.
With the birthday coming up, I’ve decided to come up with a list of the things that I want. Obviously, I just recently finished watching Firefly and Serenity. Joss Whedon, you are awesome.
1. Firefly: The Complete Series (Blu-Ray): Because I need to watch it again. And again.
2. Firefly: The Official Companion (Volume 1 and Volume 2): You had me at “unseen photos, scripts, behind the scenes secrets, and exclusive input from the cast and crew”.
3. Serenity Lunch Box: Because everybody needs a lunch box in their life.
4. Serenity PVC Set: Just because these would look great on my work desk.
5. Little Damn Heroes Jayne: Who doesn’t love Jayne Cobb?
So, an obligatory vacation entry before I start writing of other things. Heh.

Got ourselves a brand spankin’ new camera before we left because our old camera was adopted by my sister-in-law. It was that or a new video card said ze husband.
We got a nice package from Harvey Normal which included an extra SD card, extra battery, a tripod and a camera bag in addition to the kit. I was sweet-talking the sales guy to give us a UV filter for free but in return he said, we had to buy a digital frame / photo printer. Guess who are now also proud owners of a digital frame / photo printer?

Anyway, after three hours of pressure-filled ear (I think it has something to do with me sitting in the middle chair), we arrived in Manila. Proceeded to our old apartment in Makati to leave our stuff. Met with a bunch of our college friends in Gerry’s at Insular Life Building for some Pinoy food. ILU, sisig.
—
Why is it so f*n hot in Manila?
—
Visited my old office for a bit of QT with my crazy ex-colleagues.
—
Went back to the apartment to get some of our things before going to Los Baños since it was our friend C’s wedding the following day. Ate itlog ng pugo during the bus ride and C2 Apple. Hrhr. Checked in to the Splash Hotel. Room was kinda disappointing.
—
Met with my cousin P and his girlfriend A for lunch in grove. Went back to the hotel to prepare for the wedding. Massive traffic jam ensues because of the numerous fiestas. Had to ask the hotel for car service to bring us to the place without having to go through the jam.

C and L’s wedding <3
—
I miss my bestfriend L.
—
After wedding party with friends at LB Square then resort. Don’t remember much except me chatting with A about our orgmates. Haha.
—
Back to Makati then home to Pacita. I really missed my boys.
—
Dinner with friends at Bubba Gump. Then off to C and K’s condo to chat some more and to get our e-tickets. (of course I left the one I printed in Singapore). I have so much love for these guys.
—
Zamboanga adventure with in-laws and other relatives. My in-laws are great! Ate crabs almost the whole time that we stayed there. Did a bit of sightseeing and shopping for more pasalubong.
—
Went back home to Pacita for a bit more quality time with my family.
—
GPE2. Friends. Family. SF2. Tekken. Tequila slammer. <3
—
Shopping for things to bring back to Singapore.
—
Flight back.

See you again in July, Manila. You are awesome.
Time flies when you’re busy earning money to pay for your debts.
I didn’t realize that lemonpassion.com celebrated it’s first birthday until the billing department of my web host sent me an email asking me to pay up. Hrhrhr.
I remember the time when I was still contemplating if I should take the plunge and get a domain of my own. I was new in Singapore and jobless. It was at the height of recession and here I was looking for a job that would make use of my mobile development skill set. I was getting a bit desperate and wanted to somehow learn new skills to reinforce what I had. And so I thought that getting a domain would help me renew my interest in web development.
One year later, I still haven’t learned any web dev stuff, I am employed, still a mobile developer and the theme is the same as when I first started the blog. A fine year, if you ask me.
To close this very sentimental entry, I would like to thank my friends who still read my blog even if all I write about are stuff about, well… me.
Here’s to another year of self-serving entries and a bunch of created (albeit unused) sub-domains! Cheers!
It hasn’t been a good week for me.
It started with my camera displaying a blinking ERR on the panel. Then my Porta Pro got busted. Then my other Porta Pro got busted as well. Two more friends have resigned. I couldn’t figure out what the problem was in the latest project that I was working on. And to top things off, I have a canker sore.
Bah.
Here’s to hoping that things will be better this week and that the rest of May will be awesome.
See you in two weeks, bitches.
