Hi, my name is Mapet. No wait, that’s my nickname. My given name is three words long composed of fifteen characters and a punctuation mark. You probably won’t remember it all anyway so let’s just stick with Mapet.

I am a Filipina born on the eight of July, currently residing outside of the Philippines because LDR (long distance relationship) sucks.

A programmer by profession, I gravitate towards mobile (and a bit of web) technology. I am still hoping that I have an undiscovered talent in design but so far there’s no manifestation of the sort. I am currently a “freeluncher” says my very witty boyfriend husband (aka The Love of My Life). So if you know of someone looking for a mobile programmer, drop me a line. Hello, shameless plug.

I am addicted to romance novels (preferably in a historical setting or with paranormal elements). I like Miranda Kerr, Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night, Final Fantasy 8, Real Life Comics, seascapes, sunsets, birthdays, salmon sashimi, photography, slide films, 2nd hand bookstores, cloudy days and lazy Saturdays.

My guilty pleasures include Zac Efron, Perez Hilton and Disney Original Movies.

And one of these days, I shall go jogging and surprise everyone.
