Notecards
Inspired by The World Needs More Love Letters, I set out to the bookstore and bought a bunch of plain 6″ x 4″ notecards. I also wanted to get a calligraphy set but alas, they didn’t have it. I miss National Bookstore SO MUCH.
Armed with my Pilot Hi-Tecpoint V5, I tried some fake calligraphy.
Started with simple ones to see how it felt writing on the notecard. It seemed to work well with my pen. So, yay!
I had to throw out a bunch because I wasn’t satisfied with the uneven weights of the shading. I wish I had a proper pen.
I was getting sick of my cursives so I experimented a bit. I am very happy with how these ones turned out.
I am planning to do more and mailing them out to my friends. So if you have a quote or a line of a song that you really like, drop me a note so I can make one for you!

Just wanted to share — I wouldn’t say it’s my fave line, but there’s one Ed Sheeran line that keeps popping in my head when you asked me this. It’s from Drunk:
“To tell you the truth i hate what didn’t kill me, it never made me stronger.”
That’s not exactly a positive line though… and i think your notecards should only spread positivity. It’s a love letter of sorts after all. Hehehe!
