Together with the Quarter Pounder with Cheese (haha), I hunkered down the couch and watched rom coms on the night of Valentine’s Day. Because hey, no snarky comments while watching and it won’t complain about my movie choices.
1. He’s Just Not That Into You
I want those three gay friends of Drew Barrymore to be my friends. Also, Brother Phoenix East Horse! Anyway, I think I might have seen this before and I just forgot about it.
“A wise person once told me that if a guy wants to be with a girl, he will make it happen, no matter what.” —Gigi
2. High Fidelity

Rob: I’m tired of the fantasy, because it doesn’t really exist. And there are never really any surprises, and it never really…
Rob: Delivers. And I’m tired of it. And I’m tired of everything else for that matter. But I don’t ever seem to get tired of you, so…
3. Before Sunrise
There are a few people I love more than the Ethan Hawke of the 90′s. I’m glad I re-watched this because I didn’t like it as much when I was younger. I remember thinking that they just kept talking and nothing was really happening. Ah, to be young and stupid again.
Daydream delusion, limousine eyelash / Oh baby with your pretty face / Drop a tear in my wineglass / Look at those big eyes / See what you mean to me / Sweet-cakes and milkshakes / I’m a delusion angel / I’m a fantasy parade / I want you to know what I think / Don’t want you to guess anymore / You have no idea where I came from / We have no idea where we’re going / Lodged in life / Like branches in a river/ Flowing downstream / Caught in the current / I carry you / You’ll carry me / That’s how it could be / Don’t you know me? / Don’t you know me by now?
By the way, thanks are probably unnecessary but nonetheless, I am sending out virtual hugs to everybody who sent me a Valentine’s greeting. You guys are wonderful.
