10 Things: Southern Ridges, Japanese Buffet and Merchant Road
[07.02]
Woke up early to go to N & Ch’s place where we’ll start our walk towards the Southern Ridges. After getting there, we went to a nearby hawker center to grab breakfast then we took a bus to the Hort Park. The start of the walk was a bit scary because you can see down the iron walkway. I am not the bravest person when it comes to those kinds of things but my awesome friends were there to help me get through it. Heh. So I got over it quickly enough. It wasn’t so bad after all.
Anyway, I don’t know how long we were walking but we ended up in the Henderson Waves, which is a great place to hangout. The walk was well-worth it.
After napping / hanging out a bit, we started walking towards Vivo City but we dropped by The Jewel Box which was on the way. They have a nice fancy schmancy restaurant where I hope we can try out sometime.
N had a class still so we separated in Harbourfront MRT. Ch and I proceeded to the highlight of the day which was the Japanese buffet! Yay!
So yeah, Kuishin-Bo in Great World City (finally!)!!! Needless to say, we inhaled our weight in salmon sashimi. And I had so much fun eating several servings of Chawanmushi. Hrhrhr.
We were so full that we had to walk it off. I asked Ch if he’s okay passing by Merchant Road (so that I can check off another item on my list). He says he’s fine so we started off with our walking tour.
There was nothing to see there! Hahaha! And that’s all there is to say about that.
Three items in a day. Woohoo!
