10 Things: 7 Days of Bikram Yoga

I did it. I really did it!
So f*n proud that I managed to drag myself to a whole week of sweating, stretching and back bends in the “torture chamber” that is the hot room.
It really is a life-changing experience when you go to classes regularly. And I feel like my body is starting to live up to its potential with all the poses that I make it do. I’ve also noticed that my dizziness and the need to sit down is now practically non-existent. Whenever I don’t feel too well, I can now just stay standing and calmly try to breathe through it all. I am also slowly correcting how I do (and how I breathe through) the poses that I have difficulty doing. My triangle pose still needs a looooot of work but yeah, it’s THE triangle pose. But yeah, little adjustments here and there on the poses goes a long way for my practice.
I’m taking a little break this week but I’ll be back in the hot room on Saturday for some spine-twisting action. Heh. More on that soon.
