Day 9: SH-RD Protein Cream

After 7 months, I finally went back to Hair Inn to get another hair cut and to get my hair treated for the very first time! Yay!

I was planning this for a couple of weeks already so I knew that the hair rebonding would take longer than my usual hair cuts. Annie, my new stylist, seated me and inspected my hair. When I asked how long it would take, she said about 4 hours. Wow. Okay.

I told her that I wanted layers and a fringe (because that’s what I’ve always had). She explained to me that she’ll do a bit of layering but not so much and a fringe is not a really good idea since my hair parts weird (I think she was referring to my hair whorl aka puyo). Since she said these things nicely, I complied.

It actually wasn’t so bad having to sit through the cut and treatment. I read about eight magazines during the whole thing. But the best part would have to be when they had to wash my hair (four times in total). It just feels divine to have someone shampoo your hair, massage your scalp and sit in a massage chair!

When I was almost done, Annie asked if I put any product on my hair after I shower. I said, no. She was so surprised and bothered by my answer that she said she’ll recommend some stuff that I can use. Heh. Then she went on about how I should shampoo and put on conditioner. She’s really nice. I like her.

So anyway, before paying, she talked me into buying the SH-RD Protein Cream that she used on my hair to prevent split ends and to moisturize my hair. Yes, my friends. I will start putting gunk in my hair. Haha.

The treatment and the product cost me both my arms but I guess it’s about time that I started taking better care of myself and to start bothering with how I look.
