J & R

Last July 16, me and ze husband flew to Manila for a spot of vacation. I was only there for the weekend because work is uh, work and I’m saving up my leaves for December. Nuninu.

It was J and R’s wedding (for whom I made a wedding list before) the following day and I’ve already committed to give money for the gift so of course I need to be there to get a return of my investment. :P

Because I don’t want to bore you with my long-winded narratives (and because I’m lazy), I shall try to distract all you three readers with pictures from the event. I didn’t get to take as much photos as I wanted but I figured that’s the reason why they hired professional photographers. Hrhrhr. But I love how my shots turned out. :)

It was short, terribly sweet and helluva fun. Best wishes to the newlyweds and all the best in your continuing journey to love! Yay! Mwah!

27th

Or rather, things I got on my birthday. Hehe.

  • iPod. I’ve always wanted to have one. I chose a classic because space > aesthetics. Thank you husband. Hrhr.
  • Silver hoop earrings. I asked ze long lost to buy me a pair because the ones I got here irritated my ears. Meh. She actually gave me two pairs but I was already wearing the other one. So there. (Not in the photo, Purefoods TJ Hotdogs and Lucky Me Pancit Bihon). Thank you K&F!
  • Trese. I only actually read these today (08.08.10). Thank you Cherry for these!!! Alexandra Trese is a badass. <3

The celebration was a simple dinner with the husband at Jumbo Seafood in ECP. I have so much love for deshelled cereal prawns.

Also, thank you to everyone else who remembered and greeted me via my Facebook wall, sent me an SMS, Y!M message and IRL. You guys are awesome.

Something New

I have decided to get my blog a new theme. I’m still not done with the customizations and I’m still thinking of going back to my old color scheme. But since I’ve also changed my theme club, I would have to re-learn how to customize the framework. But that’s work for another day.

Today, I got my early birthday present from ze husband. I think he finally gave in just to shut me up. Hahaha. So anyway, welcome to the family, Stark.

Birthday Wishlist (Part 1)

Well, hello July.

With the birthday coming up, I’ve decided to come up with a list of the things that I want. Obviously, I just recently finished watching Firefly and Serenity. Joss Whedon, you are awesome.

1. Firefly: The Complete Series (Blu-Ray): Because I need to watch it again. And again.

2. Firefly: The Official Companion (Volume 1 and Volume 2): You had me at “unseen photos, scripts, behind the scenes secrets, and exclusive input from the cast and crew”.

3. Serenity Lunch Box: Because everybody needs a lunch box in their life.

4. Serenity PVC Set: Just because these would look great on my work desk.

5. Little Damn Heroes Jayne: Who doesn’t love Jayne Cobb?
